Engineering
GEO is set up to provide all engineering necessary to design and fabricate your heat exchangers. With just the process information we can provide a thermal rating and sizing as well as a mechanical design that includes detailed drawings required for fabrication.
Thermal rating is done using AIDEX and a thermal warranty can be provided when required. Mechanical design is done using either Code Calc or RCS. Both can be done using the newer allowable stress values or the older values used prior to 1999.
Once the thermal mechanical designs are complete, drawings are done using Solidworks to ensure compatibility with customer systems. Drawings are checked, sent for approval, revised if required, and released for fabrication.
